WHY ARE THERE 10 EPS ON SEASON 1 DVD,BUT 5EPS LISTED AS SEASON 1 ON IMDB

Shouldn't they have called it volumes if they wanted to split up the episodes equally. There were 18 episodes in all. When are they going to release the second season in the U.S.,it's been like 3 years scence season 1 has been released.I'm signed up on TVSHOWSONDVD.COM,so I will eventually find out.

In the UK, the first season consisted of five episodes (the first of which was double-length) and the second consisted of thirteen: eighteen in total.

However, when BBC America screened the show in the States, they split the first episode into two, then broadcast the remaining four episodes of Season One plus the first four episodes of Season Two to make a 'first season' that was ten episodes in length (it was this 'first season' that was released on Region One DVD).
BBC America screened the remaining nine episodes of Season Two as the 'second season' a year later.
