Will they make a American version

Seeing that "Being Human" was a British show that turned American will American producers do the same with this show?I know a lot of time has passed but maybe a American remake will do better than the British version.

The American series Point Pleasant, which lasted one season and - by concidence - aired in the US in early 2005, inbetween the first and second seasons of Hex being screened in the UK, had a number of strong similiaries with Hex. If you want to know what an American version of Hex would be like, Point Pleasant is probably a good indication.

The Yanks got there first, actually.

I can't remember the details too much now... but it was a series. Ran for like 7 years or something... Something like Roughy or Stuffy or something.

In case you couldn't tell, that was sarcasm.

I'd love to see an American remake. I really like the witch plot mixed with the fallen angels and the apocalypse, and the tone of the first season, especially the pilot were great. Not such a big fan of Cassie leaving and Ella coming to turn the show into Buffy-lite but a remake could incorporate some of those elements as well.

The problem would be which network, as it's set in a school premium cable would be very iffy (only foreign shows like Summer Heights High and Ja'mie seem to be the exception), The CW would fluff it up... that would be the main issue, I think.

And to the other poster who mentioned Point Pleasant, it's ironic that was mentioned because I remember watching Hex a few weeks after PP and thinking they were very similar. (PP would have been a lot better had it been more gothic like Hex, though.)

I would love to see this show on a network like FX, AMC or HBO.
