Other shows that have Green Wing cast members....

I've figured out any comedy show is good as long as it has two or more former Green Wing cast members.

Episodes - Tamsin Greig and Stephen Mangan

Friday Night Dinner - Tamsin Greig and Mark Heap

Twenty Twelve - Olivia Coleman and Karl Theobold

Love Soup - Tamsin and Mark (again, all thought he was only a guest star)

Black Books - Tamsin and Julian guest stared in at least 1 episode.

Peep Show - Patterson Joseph and Olivia Coleman

There must be an exception to the rule somewhere, Is there a bad show that has 2 green wing cast members.

All of those, apart from Black Books, are sh!t. Which kind of blows your theory out of the water.

Are you a TV producer?

All decent British comedies share the same bunch of actors, it's a failsafe gang. Especially when Mark Heap's involved.

Miranda - Sally Phillips + Mark Heap (the latter guest-starred in one episode as a psychiatrist I think)

Also Sarah Hadland is a principle character in Miranda and I noticed she guest-starred in Green Wing as a nurse

What is the general feeling about Episodes in the UK? It rips up Hollywood insiders in a wry way so I thought the Brits might enjoy that. I'm an old middle-brow American and I like it.

Friday Night Dinner has two cast members, and I absolutely love it.

I actually only came to this show after seeing Michelle Gomez being amazing in Doctor Who. Somewhat unsurprisingly, I found out almost all of my favourite actors are in this in some way.

Daisy Haggard in Episodes (mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm). Mark Heap in Spy, "Its the hair" is one of the best running gags in TV history. Of course Olivia Coleman in Broadchurch.

edit: now watching season 2, so clearly Darren Boyd gets added to the Spy cast.

And look at where the cameo as the car salesman at the beginning has gotten John Oliver!

Tom Goodman Hill, another one of, currently in Everything
Steve Merchant as the lab tech desk jockey

I think my percentage of Chimp DNA is higher than others. Cleaver Greene

Stephen Mangan and Sally Phillips were both on I'm Alan Partridge, though not together.

Now for my next impression... Jesse Owens!
