My friend bought this movie because he was impressed by the cover art. This movie just plain sucks. There's nothing good about it, even the action is crap. Because of this pile of sh*t I probably will never again watch an Asylum entertainment movie.
shareI agree! I bought it because of the cover AND because I love vampire movies, but this is arguably the worst vampire movie ever ... and I own Mama Dracula! Sheesh. Where to start? The sound was by far the worst thing about the movie and those who were responsible should NEVER work in movies, tv or even high school gyms! The acting was horrendous ... omg, is there a level worse than that? Not one performance had any semblance of speech, timing, emotion, you name it! I was tempted to turn it off 20 minutes in, but forced myself with gritted teeth to watch the bitter end. They used the worst sequel set-up ever with Ariana hobbling off with a sword stuck in her gut and Van Helsing not ascended as he had been told he would with his immortality based on the death of the last prince of vampires. Please, please, I'm begging, never, ever make that sequel! In fact, please get out of movies altogether! *shudder*

He or she who buys based on the package artwork, on a movie you know nothing about - what were you thinking? Don't you think if this movie were halfway decent, you would've heard about it when it was in a local theater? If it goes direct to video - you know it has to suck big-time. Think about it - how many movies have you seen in your local theater that really, really sucked...now think about once that were so bad, the local theater wouldnt't even show them. What should that tell you?

shareHmm, I guess you haven't heard that Asylum movies are 'intentionally' bad. They take real movies and classics and remake them as horribly as they possibly can, many times trying to make fun of the original hoping you will find humor in that. There are a 'few' decent Asylum movies, but they also are really not worth watching since they are not 'great' movies.
shareI can take bad movies, I have seen quiet a few, but this is possibly one of the worst movies I have ever seen. The acting is horrible. I wanted to slap the black vampire from the get go with her weird pant/breathing. It really felt like a porn without the action. Luckily I only wasted time Tivo-ing it off of Scifi. What a big piece of crap!
shareI Tivo'd it to. After about 20 minutes I just 2X fast forwarded it while watching the action in fast motion and then watched the ending. I think I found the best way to watch this piece of @#$%.
shareDid anyone notice when the black female vampire was stabbed with the pole?? I could of sworn that the pole was shoved between her arm and her side...seriously. So there is blood shown, but the stick is obviously not sticking through her chest. Did they do any editing? They have got to be kidding.
shareI couldn't believe how bad the acting in this was! The only one worth watching was the 'princess of darkness'. And who told all the other vampires to walk around with their knees bent? Are bow-legged vampires stalking me? Woooo! Technically they couldn't even screen out little kids playing on a nearby playground. The background noise was louder than the horrible dialog. What a waste of time.
shareI agree. It's airing on Syfy right now. I haven't even watched 5 minutes' worth of it, and I'm ready to change the channel. How the heck did it get a 2.0 rating on IMDB?! If possible, I would give it a 0. Bad acting. Bad dialogue. Just plain BAD!!
