You gotta be kidding me (possible spoilers)

In the event of a major terrorist attack:

Young American men will smoke a lot of dope, drive around screaming at each other and beating each other up, and babble conspiracy theories.

They will harass minorities and trash their stores.

Wealthy Americans who play an important role in the community will actually be responsible for the attack, for reasons which are completely unexplained.

American soldiers will run around shooting people, fall asleep while on duty, smuggle water to their families, and abandon their posts at a drop of a hat when they get cell phone calls from their wives.

There will be almost no Hispanics or black people or Chinese or... in LA; perhaps caused by a lack of money in the budget for extras.

On the other hand, Indians will gather together in colorful celebration and prayer except when they are being beaten up by bigots, and gouging the public for water.

This movie says a great deal about how Hollywood views America, and very little about reality. Anyone that cannot tell the difference will no doubt be impressed by this piece of nonsense. What a waste of a potentially decent plot.

You do know that this wasn't produced by Hollywood, right?

And, as the other person said, yes, this can all happen.

"Young American men will smoke a lot of dope, drive around screaming at each other and beating each other up, and babble conspiracy theories. "
Just because there's a terrorist attack, people aren't going to stop their habbits.

"They will harass minorities and trash their stores. "
Happened after 9/11

"Wealthy Americans who play an important role in the community will actually be responsible for the attack, for reasons which are completely unexplained."
<Spoiler!!> I don't think the guy caught at the end was very wealthy. Besides, the are crazy and insane people with all different amounts of money in the bank. Just because you are rich doesn't mean you are sane.

"On the other hand, Indians will gather together in colorful celebration and prayer except when they are being beaten up by bigots, and gouging the public for water."
It's a tradition; a celebration as the mother put it. And you don't do it EVERY time there is chaos. She said that they do it in times of hurt and distress in the world; she didn't say they did it every time something bad happened. And the price gouging of water, that's understandable... messed up, yes, but you'd know every store would do it.
