Eleanor Roosevelt

I have very clear memories of Eleanor Roosevelt because my childhood coincided exactly with Franklin Roosevelt's presidency. I often listened to Mrs. Roosevelt speak on the radio and I saw her in newsreels and, although Cynthia Nixon doesn’t much resemble her, Ms. Nixon’s speech patterns and behavior are quite remarkably like those of Mrs. Roosevelt.
