Unusual casting that worked really well.

I have to admit I was a bit surprised when I heard that Cynthia Nixon was going to play Eleanor Roosevelt. That being said I think she did a marvelous job. I also was surprised to see Kenneth Branagh chosen to play FDR but his performance surprised me greatly. I was also thrilled to see Jane Alexander in this. Alexander has long been one of my favorite female actors and as usual delivered a flawless performance. Great performances by all and much better than I ever thought it was going to be!
