The scene in which Jennie discusses Fassbinder, and ultimately kisses Coogan was absolutely beautiful to me. I cannot collect my entrancement into words. Anyone feel the same way?

Vacuous tossers
You seem to be talking about two different characters here. The one who talks about films all the time is the runner (helper out person) for the film about Tristram Shandy. The girl at the end talking about top-ups is the actress who played this runner. It shows her as being this 'vacuous tosser' (love this phrase by the way) which contrasts completely with her character in A Cock and Bull Story...
Does that make sense to anyone?
Seeing her character in Tristam Shandy was pretty disturbing for me, because I was seeing myself. I am that character, only I don't care so much for German movies. I prefer variety. I hope I'm not as annoying as she was, though.

Norwegian for "Oh, cock!" is "Åh, kuk!" is just my signature. It refers to James May's quote "What's Norwegian for "Oh, cock"?" on Top Gear when he lost a race from London to Oslo to Jeremy Clarkson. It had nothing to do with A Cock and Bull story.

ACtually I think they are the same character. The only two moments in the "Real World" are at the beginning and end with Brydon and Coogan talking. The scene after they have viewed the film is within the "Film World" and the film they have just made is "Tristam Shandy". Naomie Harris is always in character.

Out of curiosity, does anyone here know the title of the Fassbinder film Jennie was talking about? I watched it on BBC2 last night, and didn't catch the title... It was somthing to do with a prostitute who didn't actually sleep with her clients...
Yeah. I was surprised at my reaction to that line. It was so romantic somehow.
