Are Druzes Muslims or not?

They are a type of Shia Muslim, but not all Muslims regard them as "real Muslims". They believe in things most mainstream Muslims don't. They seem to be relatively "neutral" in the Arab-Israeli conflict. Many of them serve in the Israeli army and government. Because they are a minority, they get persecuted sometimes. They seem to be friendly to others outside their group, but they don't take converts.
