to me it seemed that her son had a dream and she couldnt have cared aless, they didnt even come see him surf!!!

His mom was okay, but his brother was a major poser.
Although, I admit that it got to me when he left Z's place the second time and talked about how it was hard enough losing one father. :-(
It's the old story...they're all living the simple life like they're meant to do. And Cody...well, he's different. And they never thought he could actually make it. And by the way, they were never meant to have big roles so they stayed in Shiverpool to give focus to Cody, CJ, Tank and Geek.

I kinda liked how at the end the mom said to Glen "I don't understand why you can't be more like Cody" or something :)
Glen was a complete a-hole. Cody doesn't even do anything to Glen and all Glen does is pick on him wtf
And I will get him back even as he gloats. In the meantime I'll practice on less honorable throats!
Mom's just kind of settled into her own ways. Plus, she has to contend with being a widowed single Mother with two children. She didn't really seem to be someone who wanted to aim high in life.
Glen pretty much was typical older brother syndrome, usually trying to keep the little brother down and always asserting 'authoritah' through being a jerk.
