I swear they wrote this movie about my hometown
I know people that are EXACTLY like most of the characters in the movie. Especially that white guy that wants to be a rapper.
The actual "hometown" they shot this movie in was Wilmington, NC. I was in the bar scene where the skinny kid got clocked and they auctioned off Laura Breckenridge. It was done on location in a black jazz bar downtown. They changed it all over to look like a country dive. Man, it was hot in there. If you look closely at the players, you can see the sweat glistening on everybody's face.
