what's in a name?

It's a shame really that she was named after a wine mostly used for cooking or consumed by the elderly after a meal and she's an alcoholic. This film could have been a lot classier if her name was Belvedere or Moet. But I guess this film just had the grungy, indie, white trash feeel to it that makes yuppies and film snobs feel like they're being open minded. Or doing lower class society a favor by turning a sympathetic eye on it for a couple of hours.

Sherry is a popular name in America for girls.
The drink is not at all popular in America or Canada.
She was supposed to be a drug addict, not an alcoholic.
I think you´re reading class into this way too much.

If it harms none, do what thou wilt.

Better than Brandy. Or Brandi. And her brother's and father's houses looked pretty upscale to me.
