Why did he suddenly turn on them? *spoilers warning*


I never did understand why the father turned on his kids and began hunting them. Was it because they tried to kill him? WHY would they want to kill the dad that supported their 'game'??

Between the movie's beginning in the mid 1900's and the "modern times", Sam and Jesse tried to kill their father because he was getting old and weak. To them, it was the "natural order" of things.

the sister said it was because the father was becoming a burden. she seems to be the "brains" of the operation. lol... brains. The whole premise and story is silly. Like how long did they know this same chick before they even decided to go camping with her?
