Depressing Ending!

I thought for sure they would work things out! I know things don't always go the way we think they will, but just something about this ending just was so depressing. I just wanted Priscilla and Jack to get back together.I know looks should not be a factor either, but Jack ( Paul Rudd) is so much better looking lol. Anyways I know I am rambling some may have liked this ending, I just for one found it so depressing. I own this movie because of Paul Rudd but this is one I could do without watching again.
