Harry Russo rip-off

When I watched this, I thought to myself, this guy is so much like Harry Russo of Schizophreniac / Necromaniac, that it had to be a rip-off.

This guy runs around outside with his shirt off beating his chest screaming like a madman...

just like Harry Russo... but Harry Russo does it with his hog out.

He rapes and kills "whores"...

just like Harry Russo, the whore mangler.

He is psycho with rage at his psycho mother...

just like Harry Russo.

He screams offensive rascist, and specifically anti-semetic remarks...

just like Harry Russo.

He uses the work-out machine pounding it like a crazed lunatic...

just like Harry Russo.

The only thing Palumbo added was a nosebleed. So he's a milder version of Harry Russo but with a constant nosebleed.

So I immediately realized this was a Harry Russo rip-off. What I didn't realize was that Nick Palumbo was an actor in Necromaniac. I knew I saw the name before but I didn't realize where. So this guy, blatantly ripped off a character from a movie he was in and made it into a bigger budget movie.

If you are someone who liked this movie, you will most certainly love the Harry Russo films much more. Totally low-budget masterpeices of trash cinema.

Harry Russo, the original, is much better than this.

yes, just watched schizophreniac: the whore mangler, and although
it's completely devoid of tone or production value, it's 1000 times better than
MSP... but Ironically, you have to admit, the Harry Russo character is a blatant
ripoff of characters from THE JERKY BOYS... there's absolutely denying that.
even the character RUBBERNECK is a JB reference... although the actor playing RUSSO pulls off the rip-off flawlessly... it's still somebody ripping off someone else... but it does it way better than MSP.

Lots of people know about it, especially after the Cinema Snob review.

Technically Diamanda Hagan unless Brad reviewed it too and I forgot (I've been in and out of the TGWTG circle for a while).

Wow. I never made the connection before, but you're right. I love Schizophreniac / Necromaniac and the character does have a ton of similarities.
