Watch The UNRATED DIRECTOR'S CUT version!! Best gore scenes!!

Okay, I wanted to tell people to watch the UNRATED DIRECTORS CUT version of the film. This was really well made, but the R rated version really sucks because it cuts out all the best gore scenes. I'm seeing a lot of people commenting on how bad it was and i'm 99% positive that they are watching the R rated version. I own both versions. The newly Remastered Unrated Directors Cut version and the R rated version. I actually didn't mean to pick up the R rated version, I just saw it in the store and bought it because I had seen it before. But I when I re-watched it, all the best scenes were gone. So, I did some research and realised that there were two versions of the film.

The UNRATED DIRECTORS CUT REMASTERED is great!! I loved the gore scenes, the music was creepy like Michael Myers theme feel to it, the storyline was excellent, the graphics and the makeup effects were great. With a bigger budget I could see this director making some awesome horror classics like Texas Chainsaw, Halloween, and the classic Psycho. I feel like it related like these movies because of the feel of the movie. Gory like Chainsaw, creepy like Halloween, and you really get a psychological thriller into the mind of the killer like in Psycho. There is also DELETED SCENES on the Unrated Directors Cut too, so don't forget to check those out as well.

I'm very pleased with this movie, i'm glad I own them because it's one of the best horror films i've seen in a long time. A classic psychopath-killer-thriller with all the best gore scenes and tons of nudity and violence.

I really hope they make a second movie where he comes back after the girl. But, can't get into details because I don't want to ruin it for anyone. PLEASE WATCH THE UNRATED DIRECTOR'S CUT VERSION!!!!

The makers of this movie are notorious for posing as Joe Blow on forums to promote it. You can pretty much discount any over-the-top praise of it as coming directly from the horse's mouth.

Why would directors waste their time on message boards you dumb arse. I'm sure they have better things to do than listen to a bunch of whiny critics.

So much flesh, so little time.

reply

the weeks leading up to the films release all the director and producers did was hype this film on horror message boards and they were banned from just about every major horror message board at the time like Fangoria. They kept starting fights, trolling and bashing other films while hyping up their own it was ridiculous

reply

Yep. It's kind of sad to see Palumbo desperately hawking his wares in such a fashion.

reply

Sorry, I don't like theater horror movies, sir. I like realistic horror films.

So much flesh, so little time.

Gory like Chainsaw...

?

I haven't seen this film so I have no opinion yet, though most people tell me it's garbage. But based on your quote I can tell you never saw TCM because it isn't gory at all. Just figured I'd call you out on that.

That is not dead which can eternal lie, and with strange aeons even death may die.

reply

Not sure what kind of crack you're on, but yeah TCM is a horror movie and yes there's blood in it. It was loosely based on Ed Gein, better do your research buddy. Also, how can you judge a movie before even watching it? smh.

The further a society drifts from the TRUTH the more it will HATE those that speak it.

There are 3 versions of the movie. The longest has even more scenes and is 105 minutes

reply

I believe the longest version out of the three (105mins) is the French cut. In the same vein as Lucker: The Necrophagous (1985). I own the uncensored dvd and if you want to see it- Be warned.

"That's it. It bit into his arm-pit. Like It wanted to eat him, man. Like It wanted to eat his heart."

reply

No, it's the theatrical cut. There are only three versions. A French version does not exist.

reply

Yes that's right, theatrical- do not know why I said it was the French cut. So the first version is the heavily censored R-rated version, second the unrated director's cut, and finally the longest most complete - the theatrical- as you have said. I have the director's cut on dvd and would love to get the longest and slightly alternate theatrical. Do you know where I can get a hold of this longer cut?

The Spanish DVD is the theatrical cut with no timecode. It is the best version to get.

I got this film when it originally came out and it's pretty terrible. The story is non existent, the acting is hilariously bad and characters are randomly introduced then forgotten. There is a scene where the killer wants to buy a "real snuff" called Nutbag, it's really just the director pimping his last film. This scene has nothing to do with the the film. These two guys armed with guns come into the store and start shooting everyone for no reason then the killer pulls out his own gun and shoots them himself then Tony Todd. It's a hilarious WTF moment.
