I think the muppets are just as good today as they were with Jim Henson. The addition of new characters like pepe the king praun and my personal favorite johnny fiama have added to the muppets. Wizard of oz is an ok project for the muppets, but i also think they should do other types of movies as well. here are some suggestions:

-Pigs in space, or a star trek parody.
-A western with kermit as a lawman
-a gangster picture with Johnny fiama as a capone character

any thoughts?

I agree, it would be nice to see the Muppets do films and such once again. I don't like the fact that Disney owns the rights to them now though. Their plan is, however, to exploit them and to begin making movies and such.

I was very disappointed to hear that this was the first part of the project.

Come on Warner Bros, give us our Blade Runner Special Edition
