Songs not as good as older movies

The songs just didnt seem that have the same feel to them. They just didnt sound as good. I miss old muppet movies...

Not to say this movie was all bad. It had its moments, king prawn made me laugh quite a bit. Over all it was a "cute" movie but I dont think I would rent it again or buy it.

Plus it really bothered me that Fozzie did not sound like he normally does. I know that these are not the original voices, but everyone else pretty much sounded the same, but fozzie sounded to much like piggy. It got a bit annoying after a bit. Its like his voice wasnt as deep or something.

yeah, in films like the muppet movie the songs really fit in, in this film it felt like they were only putting them in out of forced habit

I love the Muppets, but I think after Muppet Treasure Island things went a bit downhill. This is better than Muppets from Space though!

i loved muppets from space! but i agree that nothing they do now will ever live up to muppets take manhatten or the great muppet caper . . its a shame really, but perhaps ut gerneration really can't handle singing muppets . . .

This film may be smaller in scope than Muppets From Space, but it's certainly a lot better. Not quite up to the same standard as Muppet Treasure Island (brilliant!) or Muppets Xmas Carol, but still a great film all the same.
