Would it be a mistake to see this with my mom?

I'm 13, but I've seen a lot of crazy movies with my parents....and I really want to see this. I love Liam Lynch's other stuff (the Tenacious D shows and videos) and I've never really heard Sarah Silverman. I know it's supposedly really raunchy. I didn't see The Aristocrats.

see it if your parents have a sense of humor about the holocaust, rape, aids, ethnicities, genitalia, and sex : )

HAHAHAHA. I saw it with my dad. The skits were awful but the standup was hilarious. Thanks.

Yeah, well, my parents are...cool. XD

oh please jackisback, it's called comedy. i saw this tonight, and if my 13 year old was mature enough to appreciate silverman, i would be proud of him or her. my parents took me to comedy clubs and exposed me to vulgar humor as a young teenager and the only affect it had on me was the ability to appreciate smart and witty humor instead of slapstick crap that you see in most movies today.

I'm actually glad to hear that. I've often wondered to myself if all this "inappropriate" stuff I've been exposed to will hurt me later on in life...I'm glad it doesn't.

it's cool to see there are open minded parents out there. my dad was the one who introduced me to george carlin's and richard pryor's comedy when i was about 13 or 14, and it didn't scar me for life. i got in trouble in school for repeating the jokes, though.

hahaha .. i'd say if you're 13 and your parents take you to see Cheaper By the Dozen 2, then you should seek out a foster home ...

ya if your not embarassed i dont see why not. im 21. my mom is great but I would die before I saw it with her only because her sense of humor is borderline non-exitant/ stuck in the 50's. i was at home over break and i was watching the pamela anderson roast. she overheard silverman from the other room and was like "shes not very classy. What are you watching." I thought the roast was hilarious but I almost couldnt enjoy it with her in the same room. Dad on the other hand I would absolutely see this with him. I still have all the VHS tapes of George Carlin he made for me when I was 13. Whatever blows your hair back I guess it depends on your relationship with your parents. good luck.

It is a mistake to see this at all.
