Anti-Christian Jew

What a provocation to Christians everywhere. A Jewish woman claiming that the God of over 2 billion is nothing but magic. Christians put up with prominent Jews totally trashing their religion a couple years ago with The Passion of the Christ and now this. Why can't Jews just leave well enough alone.

If you think Christians are the only people she pokes fun at in her comedy, then you obviously haven't heard any of her comedy. For the rec, there are more derogatory Jewish jokes in JESUS IS MAGIC than there are Christian jokes. But you wouldn't know that because you're likely just a narrow-minded bigot.

oy.

God, put down your gun, can't you see we're dead?

reply

Lighten up Francis. It's a comedy CD.

Get off your cross, you so-called Christian. If you actually gave a *beep* about what the Lord has to say you wouldn't care what anyone said about Him. After all, there's abundant proof that God has a great sense of humor: greatest source of oil is under the most unstable region in the world, most of the water on Earth is undrinkable and platypus'. Come on...no one without a sense of humor could ever create an animal like the platypus.

reply

yeah. and why can't Christians leave the gay community alone?

i'm Christian and didn't find this film offensive. it's comedy. it's provocative comedy. granted, i didn't find it all that funny actually...but it wasn't really offensive.

for the record i thought The Passion of the Christ was more offensive to Christians. what an insulting, condescending film Gibson made...

"but ya ARE Blanche! Ya ARE in that chair!!"

I hate to get up your non-Hasidic nose, but Jesus was a nice Jewish boy...

the answer is yes

Are you serious? Sarah Silverman is neither trash, nor is she ignorant. I admit she did say that her character in her show and during stand-up is her, but an ignorant version but that doesn't mean that she is an ignorant person. By saying "Jesus is Magic" she isn't meaning to offend anyone, and she's not claiming that Jesus was in fact magic, although he kinda "technically" was. I think it's time for conservative Christians to pull their heads out of their asses and see the light. For Christ's sake it's the 21st century, and we live in a country of free speech. And, seriously, let's give a people a chance to not burn in hell who don't believe in your so-called "god", silly uber conservative Christians. <3

hahahahahaha.....platypus!

Passion was a Christian film. What was "Jews trashing Christianity" about that film? And regardless...dont we live in a world where people are allowed to not like anything they want? Cant they hate Christians if they want to? Cant someone poke fun at God? Do you think it hurts his feelings? I find it hard to believe that a God who could create a universe could have his feelings hurt by one small piece of that creation.

Also, Jesus is Magic.

Gibson is a self confessed Jew hater and with an Irish connection you can bet he has other hates in his repertoire. While I have enjoyed his work on an entertainment level knowing these things are not endearing me to his underlying fractured personality. He believes SINCERELY that the JEWS caused the death of his BELOVED CHRIST.It was only in th 1960s that a Pope suggested the ONE TRUE church stopped PUNISHING the JEW. The PAPACY very involved in doing nothing to aid the plight of the JEW in WW2. Go back further and know that the Inquisition targeted the JEW who had signed up to christianity. Just think when Islam gets a hold of us all in five years or so and we all convert we will victims of an inquisition if it is felt that we are backsliding or not learning the Kor[e]an [hedging bets] fast enough. Just as thought do back pain related disability claiming muslims get a by ball with the hands and knees communal praying nonsense?

The ROMAN back then was a pagan so fair game for the deist but Jesus was Jew upsetting the balance of religious power of the so called leaders. You know those 'good living for a living' who do not really believe in anything but the power of local coinage.

I have no religion and just wonder what sort of ALL POWERFUL needs the sort of adulation demanded by his priests in all those religions that are all so different.
