Bambou and Dogs

I'm just watching this movie and so far I only enjoyed the scenes with the beautiful dogs. They are no real huskies, but must be related to them. Maybe somebody knows what breed it is?

When Michel Subor, the old man with the heart problem, made love to Bambou (the pharmacist), I was wondering about her face.
Does she have lesions from AIDS or are those 20+ huge moles in her face?
If they are moles, why wouldn't she have them all removed by a dermatologist long ago?
If they are lesions and she suffers from AIDS, would he really make love to her?

It's all very confusing, but I'll try to hold on as long as the dogs are in this movie.
The Jura location is beautiful!

PS: I fast-forwarded from 0:38 minutes on, after Michel Subor (the old man) abandoned his dogs only because Béatrice Dalle refused to take them in while he was in Japan, Korea, Tahiti getting more heart transplants and looking for more missing sons etc whatever.
Couldn't the old man find a better solution for his furry friends?

I wonder why animal rights activists did not write a single post about this? Am I the only person outraged about the dogs?
None of the 19 reviewers mentioned the abandoned dogs, just the heart transplant and the sons (both of which I could care less to be honest).
The special features has an interview with Claire Dénis, but she obviously was only interested in the heart transplant issue, not in the dogs. Oh well...
Another one star and less than mediocre independent movie and the worst film I've watched this year.

Actually I was trying to find another French movie from 1977 called "The Intruder" in English (L'homme qui nous suit) with Jean-Louis Trintignant & Mireille Darc and when I tried to get it through the public library, this new "Intruder" came instead. Compared with the excellent Trintignant thriller this really is a very bad movie, soooo boring like the other poster said. She was soooo right!!!

Not everyone considers facial moles to be ugly. Also, removal of moles is sometimes impossible and some cause skin cancer if removed. Moles that are removed leave small white scars. Imagine a face covered in small, white scars. They fade but never go completely.
A bird sings and the mountain's silence deepens.

I had 5 or 6 moles removed from my face and neck and the scars disappeared within 2 years. I guess it all depends on how skilled the dermatologist is.
