'Hotel Torgo' plot description and the suicide rumors

The current plot description on the main "Hotel Torgo" page has this line:

"More than 30 years later a group of Canadian filmmakers interview Bernie, the last surviving crew member of Manos to answer one question: Why?"

To avoid this contributing to the ongoing rumors of multiple suicides among the cast, would someone involved with Hotel Torgo please give the details on this board? John Reynolds was the only one to commit suicide, and Aaron made this clear on the Manos board a while back (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0060666/board/flat/9509680), but the rumors persist.

The dust has come to stay. You may stay or pass on through or whatever.

But then what happened to Debbie? She was the youngest, you'd think she would still be around.

reply

Shameless Bragging: I'm a student at Niagara College and James Lafleur (director) was my film teacher assistant. He's an awsome guy, and Hotel Torgo is sweet!

reply

Debbie (played by Jackie Neyman) is alive and well, and recently gave an interview to Entertainment Weekly about "Manos" the Hands of Fate.

reply

As is her father, Tom Neyman. And Diane Mahree.

They are just very much out of sight.

William Bryan Jennings (the Cop) died (of natural causes) in December 2005, in Arlington, Texas.
One of the things left out of Manos lore dealing with the dubbed voices is that Jennings' voice was his own and was not dubbed by someone else.

reply

which cop? because the older one seems exactly like hal warrens volice. they clash in their first scene togethner, making hard to decipher who's speaking.

reply

>>which cop? <<
The one that does most, or indeed, all the talking! And once again, yes that was Jennings' own voice, not Hal's.
Hmmmm....so how would I know? Because I rode in the station wagon Hal rented to drive from El Paso to a Dallas sound studio to loop the certain cast members who DID do the voices.
Yes, really.

Debbie (Jackie Neyman) has an interview with some youtube guy if you search her name you will see "El Supercast Episode 39" she says (this was posted Jan 2011) that she is going to be doing a sequel where she gets her revenge and her father is going to play the Master again. The interview is kind of cool, check it out! Not sure how this guy got it and only 50 people have clicked it so it must be underground or something, no publicity among Manos freaks yet.
