"Fragile" will be screened at the Venice Film Festival held at the end of August/beginning of September. If it gets a good reception there, it may be picked up for U.S. distribution. (I think right now it's only slated for European release.)

He doesn't always pick the best projects, does he? You can't always know how it'll turn out in the end, unfortunately.
I feel bad for Flockhart too - she's a gifted comic and dramatic actress. 'Ally McBeal' required a wide range of talents, but her limited work outside of the show is really solid as well - I'd like to see her in more projects in the future.

I'm going to be rude here Its not the Directors fault Its seems that you don't now anything about this stuff The director just follow what's on the script the story sound very bizarre I dunno but the girl that play Maggie,Yasmin I dunno what seem to imitate the acting of Daveigh Chase on The Ring or unleast try to look and sound creepy like her but she didn't just look at the trailer she's not a good actress or maybe is just the movie You think that Van Helsing is good put the movie was crap not even Richard can save it SS is a mediocre director.The fault of the failure is the prducer and the guy that writes the script and the actors The director just follow the script Richard is a great actor but seriously he needs to make wiser decisions and is not just his agent lets hope that Like Minds is good.A story of a mechanical girl is not scary the trailer is not even creepy Calista is a very good actress but this is not her type of movies

And you don't now anything about this stuff as I see you just see the movies and you just said that are great becuase he's in the film and I have directed movies maybe not in Hollywood of course but I have win several contest since I was 9 in Mexico,Argentine and Brasil.And I wouldn't say that you're old becuase I think you're not I will say you're in your twenties or so and you're saying the truth I'm young but I can controll myself that's just what I think he's a great actor that needs to get better roles

I don't know if I really want to get involved in this but it is entirely down to the director to get good performances from the actors - that is his/her main job. The producers are the ones that oversee every thing so it is also their job to make sure the director does his/her job... The director also probably oversaw the casting by the way. Maybe it didn't help matters because English is not his first language in this case .
