I just would like to know what you believe the twist to be...
I searched on google and one website poped uped and said that this film would be coming to American Theatres but on a TBA 2006. So, I believe that this film if it does come out to American theatres, it will come out either in june, july, auguts, septembe, or november. But just search the web and I'm hoping and praying that this film will come to American theatres because it looks really good.

I watched the movie and I imagined the ending 5 minutes before. If you want me to tell, I'll send you a private message (some people don't want to read spoilers). Answer through this board and if you agree, I'll tell you. Not so dissapointing, it's one of the best scary films I've watched in a long time, I thougt that movies wouldn't scare me anymore, bu i was wrong!

Pleas tell me what the twist or final ending is and please tell me what the film is about? Do you know if this film is coming out in America or is it strictly European Release only?

The film is about a nurse (Calista Flockhart) who goes to work to a hospital in an island. It's a very old hospital and it's going to be closed. Only a few children with respiratory illnesses are still there. But, as you know, some strange things are happening there. Something breaks the kid's bones when they are in bed, and one of the girls, Maggie, says that somebody speaks to her, i think the name was Charlotte or something like that. That Charlotte is supposed to be a girl who died in the hospital around 1950, in the second floor which was closed after that. She had that illness that is called "crystal bones", and in that year doctors didn't know how to treat it, so they did HORRIBLE things to the girl. She was very friends with her nurse, at the point that the nurse got to love her as a daugther. But one day the girl was going to be taken to other hospital, the nurse didn't want her to go, so she killed the girl and then suicided.

Well, this is the main idea, as much as I can remember since it's been some months that I watched it. After they discover that story (but they don't find any girl named Charlotte in the hospital archives)it's time to get the kids out of the hospital. But when they are preparing for that, the building starts to collapse and Maggie goes to the second floor, because if she stays Charlotte will let the other children go. But Calista (I don't remember the character name) goes to look for her and in the middle of this you discover that Charlotte was not the girl but the nurse who killed her, and she makes those strange things for the same reason she killed the girl, she loves the kids and doesn't want them to go. Finally they manage to escape but Maggie dies.

I'm not good at telling movies, probably it sounds dissaponting now, but it's better to watch it than to read my resume. I don't know if it will be released in the US, I'm Spanish and watched it in Spain.

Good luck!

It's very much like the Asian horror/chiller Dark Water, except it's set in a hospital, but the premise is very similar, they added the twist with the nurse being the ghost, when everything seemed to point to it being the little girl, who turns out to be Mandy, NOT Charlotte! (the warped nurse)
