Since this subject was brought up...What was that look between the two when she said that..did he want to sleep with her or was she thinking he did? It was intensly confusing

Is this a British film? Spanish writers and director, at least 2 actresses and some crew. But the main character is American and not supposed to be English.

Why would an American call a sweater a cardy? I'm British and don't think even I would ever say cardy, unless maybe I was doing a impersonation of my elderly Derbyshire Grandmother.
