Was the MPAA asleep?
I've counted 9 F-bombs so far and yet it has a PG-13 rating (one that doesn't even mention language). Yet Die Hard 4 couldn't use its catchphrase unless it was rated R.
Lame.

I noticed that too. Travolta's character, "Chili Palmer" states in "BE COOL" that you can only use the F-bomb once and still retain the PG-13 rating. He uses it in his demonstration exactly once and the film retained its PG-13 rating. MPAA was definitely asleep, I counted in excess of 20 f-bombs and probably 20+ *beep* Ally McBeal was definitely a potty mouth in this one.
shareI've read two as long as their not sexual
shareThe US version was edited (at least when it was supposed to hit the theaters, which was scrapped later); the original European version aka the US DVD you've watched is uncut, with all those F-words and some slightly gruesome images. Maybe the distributor forgot to put the "unrated" sticker on the DVD?
shareMaybe you saw the European version?

It's a Spanish production so maybe they sent to to Spain or europes classification board or they just bribed the mpaa. I mean how many people will watch a fangoria straight to dvd movie
