Did anyone else really feel sorry for her?

First of all, I know this movie is ''Soapy'' but I couldn't help but feel so bad for her. The actress played the character with such sadness it just radiated despite the movie being rather cheesy. Imagine losing everything you're accustom to in a matter of a night and the person you love and being reduced to nothing. I can understand the ''abuse'' scenes when he was in a state of paralysis.

That was the point. From what we're shown she was a good wife who sacrificed everything for a man who in the end discarded her like yesterday's trash. Anyone who wouldn't feel sorry for her seriously lacks empathy and compassion.

Agree. I don't think the movie was cheesy at all. I loved it. But her story really was sad. I think many women (and men too, but I am a woman so I have only my experience to go by) can pull from a similar betrayal and relate to it. the idea of believing one thing for so long and realizing everything was a lie it heart shattering. To lose everything you've known in a matter of seconds. my heart breaks just thinking about the scene where the other woman comes in and is all 'why is she wearing my clothes!?' I think this movie did an amazing job in showing the raw emotion of a broken wife. love this movie.
