I read Donald Westlake's book 'The Ax' 10 years ago and thought at the time that it could make a terrific film in the right hands. I haven't seen the movie (unreleased in the UK since the audience for foreign language films has dwindled significantly over the last few years, meaning that the majority of our independant cinemas have gone to the wall)but hats off to Costa-Gavras for bringing it to the screen.
shareIt is readily available in most parts of Europe. I saw it in Belgium. You could try to order it via Amazon.fr, but first make sure you understand French well because there are no English subtitles.
