'This is for the next customer'..?

This isn't really a spoiler as it's not integral to the overall plot.

During the interview scene, we see him folding/ripping a piece of paper. I assume he writes some sort of message on it. At the end of the interview, he folds the note in half and tells the interviewer that it's for the "next customer" ... or something along those lines. Well, that's what my English subtitles said. I'm guessing it really means it's for the next interviewee?

Did I miss something? What did this mean? What was written on the note?

The chair was wobbling and he couldn't sit still so he used a piece of paper as a glide. He said "for the next customer" ... just to put her down and make a point how the interview wasn't professional.
