Hi,

> 1) what's whit all the naked women in the streets, trunk, etc..

I think it's a commentary about how women (and sex) are used to sell stuff. It's not a new observation, but it was cleverly presented. According to the trivia section, the photographer was Oliviero Toscani, known worldwide for his controversial Benetton photos back in the 90's.

She's the next "him"!

> 3) was it a box what the man gave the women in the last scene?

I just saw the film, and he doesn't give the woman anything. He just ordered a pack of cigarettes. The thing is, he did not smoke before getting the job, but now he does, just like his last victim (who dies lighting up in his gas-filled kitchen, and whose job he got.)

I like it a lot. It's quite "realistic", in the sense that there's a pervasive normality about his life (outside his murders, of course) and general behaviour. But even then, the murders also realist, up to a point. For example, I liked that he could not deal with the gun's recoil, a very real thing that you'd never see in an american film.

I gave it a 8/10 rating. I might add that Cost-Gavras is one of my favourite director. His masterpiece is Z (a must see). His first film, sadly not available on DVD, is Compartiment tueurs, a superb "whodunit".

1) Several of them show only parts of bodies ... legs, torsos etc ... I think this is a reference to dehumanization and the making of people into objects by uncaring corporations.

2) I think he recognizes that she is thinking along the lines that he did.

3) it's a mystery.

4) Yes, I enjoyed it ... it's still a political film, but with a lighter, somewhat comedic tone for a film from the great Costa-Gravas ... enjoyable if only for its oddity value, but well acted too.

But you ARE Blanche ... and I AM.
