i liked that for the most part. it was a bit out of character at times but still nice. one question though... do they drink a lot of coffee in england? i thought tea would come before coffee.

Yeah coffee is popular here in England, we drink it in cafes etc. Though i don't think it will beat a nice cup of tea.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not homophobic in any sort of way... but this "sequel" left me feeling weird and queasy. To me it was too out of character. The author could have left most of the sex out and still made it more interesting. They didn't put all that in the movie for a reason. I wish I wouldn't have read it because now I have a bad rememberence of the movie. I guess I just need to re-watch it to get the bad taste out of my mouth.

i don't think you should read too much into it... after all it's just a fan fiction written by someone who decided to act on what a lot of people wish about Imay... that there was a sequel of sorts. Though i'm not aware of sites that could host similar works, my best guess is that there must be a few other fanfics out there... maybe there's something more in character than this and fellow readers of this board could point us all to those?

it may not be everybody's cup of tea...but i enjoyed it and felt that i could visualize some of the descriptions the writer made given the characters (spc. luce's eyebrows and layers of clothes)

That was really sweet. Although yes, out of character somewhat. I also think that having broken up with her husband just that morning, Rachel would be in emotional turmoil and it would be some time before she really would really come around. I don't think this story/extension would happen on that very same day.
