I definetly believe in love at first sight. I fell in love with a girl the moment I saw her unfortunately we broke up after a year, but I definetly say its possible.

No, there's no such thing in the real world I'm afrade. You'll be one of the 99.9% of the human poupulation if you have a 2 way true "love" relationship". All 99.9% who people believe there relationships are "perfect" are delutional

I think there's such thing as a bond at first sight. However, to make it love takes work and patience. I experienced this in the beginning of the year with my drama club president. She was so much fun and I felt an incredible bond with her. I thought I was in love. Then the year went on and I realized after having a private talk with her that it wasn't love, it was just a great friendship.

I never believed in love at first sight. However I was introduced to my love one night and we have been together every day since then. Soon we will celebrate our 29th aniversary.

whatever happens in the first sight is maybe lust or a bond

I'm not sure, I think more like... You know immediately when you've found someone special, someone you click with but I think love takes time.

I totally believe that you can lock eyes with someone for the first time ever and experience overwhelming feelings, or feel as if you recognize them.

I was at an event about 4 years ago. I saw another woman a table away. I just kept looking up at her... I didn't know why- still don't. She lifted her eyes and smiled at me, as if she recognized me.
She came over to me and we spoke. It turned out that we kinda knew each other from online, but never really interacted much personally. Just read each other's postings. So that was cute. We were like- hey, that's you? I really admire your posts!

We became instant friends. Like, we didn't need to develop our friendship at all. We even pondered the thought that maybe we have met in a previous life. We shared things with each other that we didn't share with other people. If we didn't have contact for 24 hours, we'd message how much we missed each other.

Our lives up until a few years before we met were drastically different. It's as if we had no chance of meeting in this life. We grew up in different countries. We came to the same lifestyle in middle of our lives, and then moved to the same city.

So what I think is that yes, you can spot someone from across a room and realize that your lives are going to be forever intertwined. But it doesn't mean it's love. It could be friendship.
Like Luce said, you know as soon as your eyes meet. And it develops from then on. But I don't agree that there can't be real love any other way. You can fall in love with a person in the way Rachel described- by giving it time. And you can meet a person the way Luce described and just be close friends.

hhhmm i'm actually pretty weird cause i believethat a TRUE Love at first sight is the most powerful of all. The thing that would last forever. You just see this person for the first time not knowing them but there's a force that pulling you toward that person. You are willing to accept that person, without knowing them, accepting their personality no matter what. I dont know how to fully explain it. Its hard to explain it. just like when someone ask you how the world existed in the first place, so many theories but no certainties on those thoeries.

Love at first sight, eh?

Can't say that I don't believe it. I had a kinda love at first sight-ish experience.

After the basketball competition I had, I went to my friend's house to celebrate or something. My friend brought her friend, who is really beautiful. (I was a lesbo)For the first 30 minutes I was like, okay, fine, a friend. Then I knew who she really was, a real slut having more than 4 boyfriends in less than a year. She was 14. I couldn't stop thinking about her. I even claimed that I love her.

After all those unsuccessful confessions and stuff... I gave up, and became straight.

So, I say I don't believe in Love at first sight but I say it really can happen.

Like you guys said, maybe it wasn't love, maybe it's lust. But I dare say, like at first sight is definitely real.

Love does take time, huh...

By the way, I'm from Hong Kong. Seriously.

A lot of what Rachel and Luce say I do find to be true. Like when they said something like when you meet someone and you know instantly that you are going to be together for ever or in each other's lives

I never believed in all that until I met my girlfriend. When I met her it was like instant magic, it was crazy, in those first couple of minutes.
