who was supposed to be likable.

ARE we supposed to like Cooper? He spends the whole movie trying to get a lesbian to shag him and being a dick to other women as well. He talks about being the other man with married women and doesn't care, says them being married is not his problem.

Then his friend gets cheated on and he starts acting righteous and calls Luce a dumb slut. Are we supposed to feel for him? He pissed me off there and I couldn't take him seriously. Okay, so he can be a loyal friend sometimes. So what? Doesn't redeem him at all in my view.

I agree he was a womaniser and a hypocrite. He seemed to forget about he philosophy on sex when berating Lucy ("that's the partners problem"), that's the pot calling the kettle black!

He is a certifiable jackhole, but he did make a very good point. Luce was the one who criticized his lifestyle choices and then she turns around and slips her way into a marriage, completely estranged to her, which she had otherwise no connection to, besides being their temp employee. Her intentions were good, her approach was good, but her actions left it in disarray. Of course, Cooper is still unlikeable, but he wanted to show Luce that as easy as she makes morality to be when it comes down to it anything can gets screwed up even if you don't try to. Luce didn't try hard to mess with Rachel & Heck's marriage. Thank Rachel and Heck for pulling that off, but she did manage to leave herself become a magnet for Rachel to cling to her.
