Recommendations problem !

I really don't know why the Imdb recommendation for this film is "Douze travaux d'Astérix, Les (1976)". Apart from the fact that they are both french movies, these films have absolutely nothing in common (Asterix is an animation, this movie is mainly action-driven). It's like recommending Finding Nemo for Top Gun, because they are both american movies !

Could someone explain to me how the "Recommendations system" works ? Is it possible to change it ?

"Astérix" and "Les chevaliers du ciel" are both comics from Albert Uderzo.

And recommandations system works with keywords.

I still think that the recommendations system should be based on user submissions...
