shareI don't know. When she hiked up her skirt, I thought the same thing as well. Nothing better to do, out of boredom of waiting. *shrug* You're not alone.
Did Tamiko ever get an answer from her company? I don't think she did. Kind of left me unfulfilled there, not knowing, but then that's also the perfect way to describe a mall, airport or hotel. They advertise the possibility of adventure, but yield little results in the end.

Tamiko was a reverse metaphor of Amanda. Amanda doesn't look for opportunity as Tamiko does. Amanda is careerless & homeless, living from place to place whereas Tamiko has a place & career but reached a dilemma regarding her advancement in her career. At the end of the film, they both turn out equal in their standing.
