I don't understand the negative views

It's like, okay, if you're going to put it up against all the best movies out there it's not exactly gonna stand a chance.

But to me, it is what is, a fun comedy. Big Momma is a funny character and if you don't get the humour from the kind of situations that happen, you wont find it funny.

I really enjoyed both Big Momma's house 1 and 2, they're fun. But I wish people would stop taking it so seriously like it's trying to be the next best thing.

Yea! Me too. Just a funny movie that you can sit back and enjoy. Nothing wrong with that. Not every movie has to be Oscar material.

Martin Lawrence made the second one funnier that's why I liked it better than the first. It might of been a lower budget than the first but it still made me laugh!
