A very sad story

He died as a little baby in the arms of his love....with senile dementia.

* None seem frightened of the strange phenomenon during the movie.

* Which could be the relation between Benjamin and the clock of the station ?

1 Plenty of uplifting moments though.

2 His father was and initially Queenie and Tizzy were. But I guess everyone else at the nursing home figure they've seen everything any way. Benjamin didn't really ever try to be threatening to any one.

3 It is a fantasy and I guess the clock prologue may exist as some sort of rationale to explain his existence, since he was born around the same time the clock began to operate.🐭

I was sobbing at that bit. Such a beautiful scene.

And both Benjamin and the clock go backwards........

reply

Yes, it was overall quite a sad story.

I lose it every time I watch this movie. So beautifully done, but gut wrenching. And the score was phenomenal.

I've just seen it for the first time. I knew it had to end that way, but I still sobbed. I don't know why I hadn't seen I it before. It was a good movie.

Sad moments, but the bottom line is two people that if they were both 100% normal would have never met, but were soul mates and had some great times together.

It is a happy tale except they didn't grow old together
