Don't listen to the fanatic a70eezchild - movie sucks

horrible

I agree, the idea is nice, and it ~could~ be a great story, but they just didn't deliver it.

I don't agree at all. The actor's performances in the movie are very strong. Gabrielle Anwar is one of my favorite actresses and I felt she did a remarkable job. Dave Baez (The ranch hand) is very strong for starring in what looks like his first feature role. I felt the music in the film was very strong. (Is there a soundtrack anywhere?). And the film is exquisitly shot.

In fact...when you break down a lot of the elements of the film...there are many strong aspects to it. So...I don't think there is any way you can call the film horrible. Not at all. I can see how people might be put off by the ending...it is a little jarring and leaves the viewer hanging. But horrible? Not at all.

The film did make me think and any film that can do that today, with all the crap that is being put out by Hollywood...is a good film.

Thank you. I agree.

Brian Ralston is the composer...here's his website:

I didn't see an email address, but if you can find one, I'd write him and ask about it. Be sure and tell him what you thought about the music!

The score won a Gold Medal at the Park City Film Music festival, which is associated with, and runs concurrently with, Sundance.

Thanks a70eezchild. I will have to check out his site. Although, I don't think someone like him would respond to a random email from some random person like me.

The music is great though. The music during that first love scene was simply beautiful.

I think you'd be suprised.
Artists enjoy when their work is admired.
And the Internet allows a lot of interaction between artist and admirer...it's a great and fun thing!
