Threatening Music Numbers?

Just read a user's comment - Saw this film at the Newfest screening and if anything, none of the musical numbers in 20 Centimeters are threatening. Poor choice of words.

One should look at the film version of Chicago where the editing and sound was so aggressive, you couldn't help but pay attention. (I loved Chicago btw)

I know its one person's opinion but I've seen other movies that are much more threatening than 20 Centimeters.
