What happened to his fingers?

I saw about a month ago (maybe more) that there were large bandages on Tony's right hand on his last two fingers, and they even made fun of it on the Extravadanza plinko board, they had bandaged the moving right electric hand too (they've since restored it to normal) but he NEVER talks about it.. now they are taped together. I can't find ANYTHING on the internet about it, so I am really itching to know what happened?
