Dixie finally out of power

My favorite line "As part of the deal, long-time TNA executive Dixie Carter is out as chair of the board of directors and will take on an advisory role with Anthem". So I'd hope that would mean that she no longer has the power to drive the company/show the way she sees fit.

And an interesting twist if true. I guess GFW never got to where Jarrett was hoping if Jarrett goes back to TNA. Or perhaps GFW is merging into TNA? Or perhaps Jarrett will use the TNA platform to once again gain some attention to GFW?

reply

Definitely didn't get to where Jarrett wanted...we all saw that with the gold scam.

Him coming back to TNA is interesting, might provide an inject.

EDIT: Apparently GFW is not part of the deal. So that company remains and will not be on TNA.

Apparently Dutch Mantel and Jarrett are back as 'consultants'

To tell you the truth, I will reserve judgment on this right now. Honestly it feels like we went from one person who didn't know how to run a wrestling company to a company who may not know how to run a wrestling company. And the fact that she has any role at all with them makes me leery. But I'm willing to be cautiously optimistic right now and hope for the best.

Carter is out. Jarrett and Mantell are in.
