Broken Matt Hardy appears at ROH Final Battle

For those of you that have not heard, Broken Matt Hardy appeared in a pre-taped video segment threatening to take out the Young Bucks and the Briscoe Brothers (or as he called them the spot monkeys and the rednecks.) You can read about it here:

Reportedly the crowd responded well to the appearance and chanted "delete."

How this will affect the Hardys relationship with TNA or how TNA feels about the appearance of one of their champions on another promotion's PPV is anyone's guess.

Yeah the pop was huge. Those "delete" chants are surfacing every-where. This is probably the most over thing to come out of TNA in a long time (before, it was fans making WWE references in TNA, ie. singing Adam Rose's theme). It would suck if TNA lost them. Wouldn't be much of a gain for ROH tho, aren't the Hardys over the hill by now in terms of wrestling?

I think TNA wants to start a [new] relationship (and clean slate) with Ring Of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling.

They underused AJ Styles. ROH and NJPW make him a star. Signs with WWE (nearly returning to TNA), and he's a marquee player right out the gate. TNA made the same mistake with the Young Bucks, and maybe now they don't want them out of their grasp (in-case they finally decide to go to WWE).

TNA is trying to rebuild, and maybe this is the way to do so: collaborating with NJPW and ROH so they can get back some live events, PPVs, possibly borrow some talent, and get back some fame and recognition as a professional wrestling corporation.

I hope so. TNA cutting ties with certain companies not only limited them, but it alienated some of their viewers and employees. Some wrestlers made just as much money, if not more, outside of TNA than in TNA, yet while in TNA they couldn't appear for certain companies.

Hasn't that news been going on for a while (years)? They'll probably have a legend's contract and end up on the weekly prelim show (like The Dudleys).
http://www.rohwrestling.com/news/its-official-young-bucks-will-face-matt-and-jeff-hardy-supercard-honor The link here says, The Broken Hardys will be facing the Young Bucks at Supercard Of Honor 11 (Wrestlemania XXXIII weekend).

Back in 2015, someone here (either harlem or Thea) posted on who TNA should hire (in response to the promotion announcing new signees). Disappointed with the signing of such talent like Marcus Louie & Sylvester Lefort; they suggested a few stars that TNA should sign. A few of those names were NJPW stars (such as Davey Boy Smith Jr). Seems that suggestion may happen.
