Yes, I thought Impact was better on Destination America. I wasn't able to watch Impact much on Destination America because I didn't have that network throughout the entire year. Right before their run on Spike TV ended, the product was improving, especially compared to previous months in 2014. 2015 continued that momentum. The crowds and look of the show felt better in 2015.
For the most part, their announcing had become so stale that it was fresh to have something different. Mike Tenay is good as a commentator and an interviewer, he's not always the right guy to lead an announce team. Josh Mathews is a good speaker, he doesn't add much to matches and sometimes comes off as disingenuous. The commentary in TNA still needs improvement. Pope is charismatic and tries to sell the talent and stories on commentary, his overall commentary isn't that good.
I liked the specials that Destination America had for TNA, they needed that years ago.
The knockouts division was reignited with Jessica Havoc, The Dollhouse, and TBP reuniting. Kong returned. The Dollhouse and TBP were good examples of how TNA usually excels with female stables. 2015 was the last time Madison Rayne was interesting.
Some of the pairings were creative, and reminded me of some of the stables during the early years of TNA.
Impact has had some decent episodes on POP, very few have stood out. One issue (which is a problem TNA for years) is that they rush matches involving grudges or something at stake rather than building to it. Also, the crowds over the past year haven't been that hot. That's why the episode with Drew Galloway winning the world title was one of the best episodes, the crowd was into that show. The knockouts division has become more underused, and The Dollhouse split when they were one of the highlights. Some of the highlights on POP include Lashley's dominant reign, the Broken Hardyz catching fire, Decay, Beer Money, Eli Drake, Drew Galloway, Maria, and Cody's brief stint.
Reboot, restart or re-imagining is another word for remake
