E is the *beep* network around 90% of their programming is complete and utter garbage yet their cancelling Soup?.Does anyone else understand this decision?.Its baffling to me,ive already contacted E,this decision is beyond comprehension to me

I have to echo that. There isn't a single other program on E! that I watch. When it is gone, I'll probably never land on that channel ever again.
It's gotta be one of their top-ranked shows and when it is gone, the whole network will be in trouble. I'll bet the show comes back in a new form like they did when Talk Soup was canceled.
Of course, since I won't be watching the network anymore, I won't know about the new show until it's been on the air for two years, like with The Soup.

Seems like all they need are the Kartrashians, that horrid Divas show, and that stupid Royals show. The Soup was really the only reason for a sane person to even watch E. Otherwise, it's for the stupid.

Is there any chance someone like Comedy Central could pick the show up? This is the only show worth watching on E! and they should realize that.

Nah...Tosh is the only clip show they're happy with. I would love if they did pick up the Soup because I can't see any real reason for it to be cancelled. It makes no sense.

I always thought it was odd the soup aired on E in the first place because 90% percent of their programing is the same stuff the show makes fun of... But its a great show all the same. And if E decides to toss it out (for whatever reason) then its possible another network will scoop it up

It's not 90%. They will feature a Kardashian clip or other show, but 90% of the clips are from other networks. Back in they day, they had their own segment (like Reality Clip Time or Clippos Magnificos) called, "Let's Take Some E!,!" which would feature clips from E! shows.
Sorry I didn't mean to imply that the soup is only showing E clips. I meant that the soup shows clips of show similar to what E airs, like a lot of reality shows. Don't get me wrong, I love the soup!

i found out only by watching the show itself last week. at first i thought they're making fun of a false rumor that it's cancelled. then i realized it's actually true. so sad. i only watch comedy-based shows on E!, and this one is now pretty much it. i hear both THE COMMENT SECTION and WE HAVE ISSUES were cancelled but THE GRACE HELBIG SHOW which i like i hear was renewed. THE SOUP is still the favorite and i thought it still holds as a cult show of sorts, even if the ratings are not that high. so yes, my reaction was pretty similar. i don't get it.
shareI think I saw the writing on the wall when they started drastically cutting back on the replays; in recent months, if you didn't watch it on Friday night it was hard to catch it later, since the late night replays on Saturday and Sunday disappeared. At a certain point, even I felt like they should either make it more easily available or else simply end it, giving me an final excuse to never turn the channel on again.

Yeah, they used to rerun the Friday episode of The Soup all week long at different places, but in the last year or so, they would only rerun it a few times and by Monday, it would be gone. E! has truly become the KarTRASHian Khannel. They should change its name to K!

E! is a joke of a channel. Its exists to present useless celebrity gossip like its real news and to show the lives of a glorified porn star and her whiny family.
Yes I also thought something was off about the repeats. I can't always catch the show Friday nights, but it would usually repeat itself Saturday/Sunday mornings. Or just sporadically throughout the week. But within the last few months, I couldn't find it anywhere but it's orginal airdate or Xfinity, or something. So perhaps that was a sign
