Thank you Soup!

From the bottom of my heart. I started college in the fall of 2004. Looking back on it now, the Soup one of the things that helped my roommates become my friends. Just something simple we would gather together and watch, rather than hide in our bedrooms. They ended up buying a house after my first year of college, and I moved in. We continued to watch the Soup religiously every week, till I graduated and moved away in 2009.

I finally brought myself to watch the final episode and boy, what a flashback. We were so luckily to watch through really the golden age of the Soup. I haven't spoken to my friends in quite some time, and of course the finale was a reminder of all the dumb/fun/memorable *beep* we did back then, so I ended up calling them and talking for hours.

This is actually very similar to how I met/became friends with my old roommate too. We started talking about our favorite shows, and we both liked The Soup- back when it first aired on E. We started watching it together and we became friends

Me too. I mean, what the hell are they gonna put on Friday nights now! I was so used to tuning into The Soup! I don't even wanna know what I'm gonna see if I forget one night and turn E! on at 10 now!

According to my tv, next Friday night is just showing a movie, but that could be because of the holidays.

My guess is they'll eventually fill the spot with another reality show or a FashionPolice-type show

Truly one of the funniest shows I have ever seen. I looked forward to it every week, and Joel McHale always delivered. This is one show I will miss. Thank you Soup for making me laugh for so many years!
