This or Brotherhood first?

Just finished Attack on Titan s1 and OVAs and looking for something else to watch. AoT was pretty good.

I saw a few episodes of either this or Brotherhood a few years ago. For some reason I didn't finish it even though it seemed like a good show. I'd like to give Fullmetal another shot. Do you think I should start with this or Brotherhood, and why?

Some of my favorites animes if it makes any difference: Neon Genesis Evangelion, Berserk, Death Note, Claymore, Azumanga Daioh, Hajime no Ippo

I started watching the original one. It was Brotherhood that I've seen earlier for a few eps

I always say watch 2003 version first, then Brothehood.
26 episodes of FMA1 wer crammed into Brotherhood episodes 1-7, so if you watchBrotherhood first, you will know pretty much everything that happened up until the middle of the FMA1.

And then you can always go back to Brotherhood and enjoy it :)
