Teenagers Interviews

I'm sure that there are segments of society that will decidedly not watch this documentary. That's a shame because they would benefit from listening to the older children talk about their experiences growing up as the child of a gay couple. Perhaps those interviews could be edited into a shorter film, devoid of anything that Christian conservatives might find offensive, and sent to school systems as an educational film on brotherhood and love thy neighbor.

All generalities have exceptions, including this one.

Well said btm1,

I thought the kids expressed themselves very well, and could teach us all a thing or two about life.

My mom is a lesbian and still friends with my father (after they got a divorce she admitted that she had always had feelings for women but thought if she was the perfect mother and she lead a "normal" life they would go away) and now he's engaged to his high school sweetheart. My sister and I are 26 and and 23. We have jobs, went to college, are in relationships, and the sky hasn't fallen :-) I hate people who think that because my mom is gay that I'm learning some weird gay propaganda that means I'll be gay too (I'm not). She was always my mom and that's how I've always seen her.
