should they have done a red eye two? might have been cool

In one sense it might not be too late (Murphy and McAdams are still in fine shape, both physically and career-wise), but, outside of a small cult following, I don't know that too many people remember the film.

Craven definitely wanted to do a sequel at the time (he had a vague idea involving Jackson and Lisa being thrown back together to do some kind of job for the CIA or something - sounded vaguely Dirty Dozen-esque), but something got in the way - maybe Scream 4, I'm not sure.

He died at the end of the movie --how can you have a sequel?

I would love to see a second film but it stands well on its own.
