...is the most incredible and fascinating human being on the planet.
Every line he writes makes me fall in love. I can hardly stand it.
I'm meeting him in less than 2 weeks at a book signing and my heart races, my arms feel like they could fall off just thinking about it. Hopefully, I can play it cool. Hopefully, I can speak and when I do, say something memorable. Most importantly, I hope he's not a dick. I'd be ruined for life, haha.

...& I'd have ALOT of *beep* to sell.

What should I say to him?
What would be memorable?
Ideas?

A simple looking straight into the eyes and saying, "It's good to see you" worked for me many years ago in a similar situation when I shook hands with Elizabeth Taylor. Good luck/

I met Mr Cave a couple times in the 80's-early 90's and he was an extremely down to earth and approachable guy. \Relax... take a deep breath... and don't geek out on him.

Best experience ever, far exceeded any expectations.
He pointed and winked at me in line and when I cover my mouth I told him I masturbated to his book twice and he told me he'd give me another kiss for that one and that I made his day.

Yes he does. To my knowledge he has written two; And the Ass Saw the Angel, which I have not read, and more recently The Death of Bunny Munro, which is excellent.

I have the soundtrack, and I tried singing "Peggy Gordon" with "Sad Violin Thing" like in the movie.

This Cave guy is human correct?
Due to wack jobs such as you...he is super wealthy...but a human no less.

Yes, Nick Cave is human...

He's not super wealthy compared the some of the ridiculous people out there.

Especially considering that he's a highly acclaimed singer, songwriter, scriptwriter and novelist.

What have you done?

He's extremely accomplished and talented and I love his music...but by god he's Ugly..though, in an interesting kind of way. I can see why others might find him 'hot'. All that dark mysterious aura, etc. I think he's worked on that a lot though. Anyway...I thought the film was brilliant. Some sulky ne'er-do-wells here, methinks!

Man...I just witnessed images of Nick Cave and he is UGLY.
He should have a serious chin implant..at least.
Notice,the only handsome people Down Under are Irish Catholics.
