The name of the castle in Mrs. Palfry at the Claremont?

I can't remember the name of the castle in the film. Does it exist as named in the movie or was it one that was just used for the production? I would love to visit the place but don't know its' location. Please advise. Thank you.

It Beauleiu Abbey (pronounced (bu-lee). An hour south of London. Worth the rain ride!

An hour from London, maybe by helicopter!

It is actually almost on the South coast in Hampshire about and hour and a half by train from Waterloo Station, London to Brockenhurst Railway Station then you still need to get to Beaulieu itself by local bus or taxi!

There is plenty to do there Motor museum, castle, gardens and more - it is years since I have been but I remember only having time to see a small part of it, which in my case focussed on the vintage cars - probably the best collection in the UK with lots of other interesting vehicles.

This is a duplicate of a message from another thread that makes a similar point.
